Karl Urban: AKA That Hot Doctor From Star Trek

I didn’t really know I had the hots for Karl Urban. It snuck up on me, although I had seen Lord of the Rings and Star Trek with nary a sliver of saliva escaping (well, there was some for Zach Quinto, but that is expected)

It was only until I saw dear Karl in the quirky New Zealand flick “The Price of Milk“, the I became smitten. It must have been his native New Zealander accent, to be honest. Not only is the film great, Karl basically takes of his pants and dives into a vat of milk for the wettest sex scene in cinematic history. Yup: It’s in my top ten movies of all time. ALL TIME.

Two gallons, please.

Not only that, according to IMDB, Karl spent several weeks learned to ride horseback in anticipation of his role as Eomer in Lord of theRings. “He wanted to learn to neck rein, a method of steering a horse using one hand while leaving the other hand free to wield a sword.”

Whatever THAT means. It’s cool, Karl. You’re pretty cute, even with a shetland pony on your face.

Look out for him in the sure to be blockbuster, RED. Sexy trailer below.

I’m with ya on the subtle sneaky way he works into the heterosexual female psyche. All the sudden, there he was. For me it happened during LOTR. The more I watch Karl’s scenes as Eomer, the more I find him to be the benchmark upon which all masculinity should be judged. Well done, Karl. You give hope to men (in cinema, where it’s much needed).
