Tunde Adebimpe

This is the best pic I could find. Sorry.

Many of you may know Tunde from his role as Sydney in Jonathan Demme’s film “Rachel Getting Married“, but did you know he’s also the lead singer of TV On the Radio, an accomplished film director, animator, and OH YEAH, NYU Tisch Alumnus?!

Originally from Nigeria, Tunde is a dream-boat renaissance-man that’s managed to dabble in basically every Googly Eyed girls’ favorite medium without spreading himself too thinly. Remember that movie “Jorge” we had to watch in basically every production class ever? Yeah, that’s our boy. Tunde.

Thanks to Jorge’s success, Tunde went on to star in the feature version called Jump Tomorrow. Keep in mind that he was doing all of these wonderful things while leading an international music sensation. Pair that with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs video he animated, and you’ve basically got everything I’ve ever looked for in a man. Unattainability included.

Here’s one of my favorite TV On the Radio Videos starring out main man, directed by Jon Watts:

Also, did I mention he’s a pisces?

Does anyone have his home address…?
