Sam Rockwell

Although most trace his career back to his appearance in “Charlie’s Angels”, Sam has graced the screen with more notable performances, namely “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind” and “Matchstick Men”, one of my personal faves. He’s goofy, quirky, and not afraid to play a Seriously Deluded Asshole. Fortunately for us, this SDA character is resurfacing in his newest film, “Choke”, adapted from Chuck Palahnuiks equally fucked up novel.

According to his Wikapedia page, Rockwell “also appeared as the title character in The Search for One-Eyed Jimmy (hahahaha. I’m sorry, Jimmy). During this time Rockwell worked in restaurants as a busboy and delivered burritos by bicycle.[5] At one point, Rockwell even worked as a private detective’s assistant. “I tailed a chick who was having an affair and took pictures of her at this motel”, he told Rolling Stone in 2002. “It was pretty sleazy.”

Burrito delivery AND masterful detective skills? Three skeets, ay!

That knife he’s holding kind of looks like a long thin surprised old man with a moustache and a bad hairpiece.
