The Golden Lasso of Sexual Equality

I think regardless of who you support in the upcoming election, you have to admit there was a lot that was sexist about the way the media treated Clinton during her campaign. We’re not the only ones who noticed- a couple nights ago, the adorable Kristin Schaal appeared on The Daily Show to confront this rampant sexism head-on, and did so in the most empowered, liberated way possible. Check it out:

Not having a TV, I wasn’t aware of all the disgustingly sexist commentary that was being bandied about on the news networks. I heard snippets here and there on NPR, but it boggles my mind that these a-holes were allowed to say this stuff without a legion of women storming the stations! Since I don’t have TV, I also miss out on the Daily Show. That was a great clip. Thans for sharing!

Nice clip. Somebody needs to turn it around, begin making sexist comments about the male candidates, see how they feel, watch them squirm, see if they get the message and love it and own it.

Looks to be that Obama is already distracted from the issues and has something else in mind! 🙂
