Another Reason to Find the Wayans Bros. Horribly Unfunny

Yes, Marlon Wayans was excellent in Requiem for A Dream. On the other side, though, we have Little Man, White Chicks, that awful sitcom My Wife and Kids, and Scary Movie, which in turn is responsible for Epic Move and Date Movie and all of those other entirely failed attempts at parody. You know what though? Those were stupid, and occasionally blatantly ignorant, but rarely were they outright offensive. Well, now they’ve covered that base, as well.

Check out the newest video from the Wayans’ online video channel, WayOutTV, starring Damon Wayans son.

Now, I’m pretty easygoing, and I have a pretty crude sense of humor. I don’t think its impossible to make a joke about abortion, and I don’t think any subjects should be considered “off limits” when it comes to comedy. Humor can be a very effective way of discussing painful topics. This, however, goes way beyond tasteless.

Aside from the fact that the main punchline (pun only intended a little bit) involves hitting a pregnant girl in the stomach repeatedly, the way this guy treats his girlfriend is just depressing. The Wayans have a history of portraying women as oblivious and obnoxious; they’re annoyances that must be tolerated in order to get sex.

The worst part is that it represents the pro-choice opinion in a terrible light. I don’t recommend taking YouTube comments seriously, but read this: “In some ways, this video is a good illustration of the evil of abortion. The attitude of the man “get rid of that shit” is an all too common response to pregnancy, and is one of the main reasons for abortion. Selfish convenience. In this light, the video is not without merit, the director’s intent notwithstanding.” Sigh. I’m going to go take a nap.

WTF? What kind of superhero chews GUM? Not only is this clip offensive, it’s not even funny. His kid is a horrible actor. I can’t believe they spent like like 3 grand on the lamest POS i have ever seen.

You mean it’s NOT hilarious to beat the shit out of pregnant girls and use the phrase “nig” about 5 times in 10 seconds? And I thought we knew each other…
But seriously, this vid pretty stupid.
